Portable system for testing SAML 2 systems

Hello All
Earlier I wrote to say that I’m configuring an SP using Shibboleth and Apache that will access an IdP that uses Azure. I’ve shared the SP’s metadata with the administrators of the IdP and am hoping that it works on the first try after they configure it. But I realize that might not happen.
Therefore, I’m looking at SAML debugging tools which I can use to isolate problems that may arise, like SAMLTEST.ID<https://samltest.id/>. However, I cannot use SAMLTEST.ID<https://samltest.id/> itself, as my site is in our Intranet, and only accessible to clients on site or connected via a VPN. What tools are available to debug such a SAML deployment? E.g., I would gladly use a Docker image that contains functionality similar to SAMLTEST.ID<https://samltest.id/>. Does something like that exist?
Thanks
Arthur
