Assuming you wait the ten minutes for the tabs to load (sorry), the docs for the 4.1 tabs show the property options you have, one of which is idp.authn.MFA.reuseCondition, so yes, you can do it with a property. I tried to accommodate pretty much everything I could to avoid the need for going back to XML.

Once you have a handle on what it looks like, the Reference material should make more sense to see what all the options are, and it's a list of properties instead of having to look at a javadoc page.
