Shibboleth as SAML Proxy

Hi,

 

I face the Problem of connecting an application to multiple IdPs which does not support multiple authentication sources nor federation. I does support SAML authentication to one IdP directly.

One solution would be to configure a simplesaml as IdP on one side and federated SP on the other side. The application could use the IdP side to authenticate. Is such a setup also possible with Shibboleth?
