datasealer error messages

In our Shibboleth IDP v4.01 logs I am seeing these messages on a regular basis
2021-01-29 08:52:15,494 - 10.48.36.202 - ERROR [net.shibboleth.idp.authn.principal.impl.PasswordPrincipalSerializer:95] - No DataSealer was provided, unable to support PasswordPrincipal serialization

We do a periodic sealer key rotation.  I cannot find a lot of information on this issue anywhere.  Any help is appreciated.
