I could find SSO guides ("self-service installation guide" etc.) for
other Banner products/components but not for BDM. If you have or can
get your hands on such a document I'd be interested (and surprised!)
if it even mentioned the Shibboleth SP software anywhere.

If BDM is anything like their other stuff I'd expect it to use
grails.plugin.springsecurity for SAML support (but then I don't know
anything about Banner at all).
