Clarification needed on idp-warn.log

Hello!
In the past, I understood that idp-warn.log is an extract from
idp-process.log. Thus, following idp-process.log would also give me all
warnings and errors.
Since we have upgraded to IdP 4, I came across situations where
idp-warn.log contained messages that were missing from idp-process.log
although others warnings appeared in it. (Unfortunately I didn't keep
the examples.) That's also what a member of our federation reported.
Is this intended? If so what exactly shows up in idp-warn.log only?
Could you please clarify? Thanks a lot!
Best,
Silke Meyer
