UnboundID / ldaptive SASL GSSAPI

Hey all,

Daniel Lutz thread "Upgrade of OpenJDK 1.8 packages w/ JNDI LDAP 
provider may break LDAP connections" triggered be to look into UnboundID 
(we have an upgrade issue/task but it's pretty far away) and I tried to 
get UnboundID to use SASL GSSAPI (and TLS, but that worked AFAICT) to 
talk to our OpenLDAP instance but could not get it to work.

Dear lazyweb, has someone already managed to get SASL GSSAPI to work 
with UnboundID / ldaptive?
