3.x uses joda-time and 4.x uses the standard Java 8+ Date/Time APIs.

You'd have to dig into the Java APIs and get the right format in place, they can be difficult to get right.

I believe CESNET is a consortium member so you could get some help off list, but there's never been any contact person established to maintain the set of people with access to the support options. I would prefer to fix that rather than address non-free support on list.
