IDP - Authentication against external module.

Hi all,

Until now, i'm authenticating my users against a LDAP service, now i
need  authenticate them against an external module using a custom api
REST.

In an other word, all the user information, userid, passwords, etc,
are going to move to an external module.

This external module support (it communicates with external world) a
custom api REST.

My question is, on Shibboleth where/what I should configure the
integration with external module ?

I should create an HttpConnector inside attribute-resolver.xml ?

I'll appreciate very much any suggestion about how achieve that.
