JasperReports as SP?

Has anyone successfully integrated JasperReports from TIBCO Jaspersoft as an SP with their Shib IdP?

We originally had them authenticating using the CAS protocol, but we're trying to get them use an attribute we release and they don't seem to grok the samlValidate method for CAS. (If you have any successful experience with this, we're interested in that). So now we're exploring if we need to go the SAML route and if we're likely to run into similar hiccups that way.
