Can Shibboleth 3.4.x delegate authentication to another IDP(such as Azure B2C)

Hello,
We have installed a Shibboleth IDP 3 years ago.
We need that Shibboleth act as a proxy to an external authentication(SAML
compliant).
At this moment, it wasn't possible to do such a delegation with built-in
shibboleth idp.
However, our architect claims that since version 3.3.x it's possible that
shibboleth transfer the authentication to an external IDP.
We would like to connect to an Azure B2C but I can't find documentation
about such a delegation.
Could someone explains me if it's possible and/or give me a pointer to the
documentation ?
Best Regards,
Claude
