Well, clearly that's become silly. I really wrote it off a while ago, but it's obviously unusable now, as Alan basically said. It hit exponential a while back I guess.

I presume any others that do work are streaming, but I know of no way to implement that and it's definitely not implementable in the libraries the SP uses.

It's impractical to the point that I'm not sure it matters. The federations would need to basically document the workaround of downloading the file separately to prime it.
