You have found the project's community mailing list but not its
documentation web site?  Well, for the upcoming IDPv4 you'd start at
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP4/Home
with System Requirements and Installation, then moving on to
Configuration.

Depending on what exactly you mean by Kerberos authentication the
relevant docs for that aspect are either
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP4/KerberosAuthnConfiguration
or
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP4/SPNEGOAuthnConfiguration

But until you get there you'd have to plan and perform your IDP and
Java servlet container and TLS web server installation and
configuration.
