Renewing idp 3.4.3 SSL cert

Hello all,

I was hoping someone could point me to a link for renewing or implementing the Https certificate on our IDP. We are using the Jetty deployment on a windows server 2012r2. With the research we have done we think that we can use the digicert tool to generate the csr then place the resulting pfx file in the idp\credentials folder. Then edit the idp.ini with the new name.
So my questions would be;
Is this the correct way to do this?
If not, what documentation should I be looking at?
Will this affect the service providers linking to my system?
