ExternalApplicationOverrides and IdP Initiated

Yes, I moved exactly the same config into the single shibboleth2.xml file to see and it works fine, so I don't think I've made a mistake in the config.

I forgot to make it explicit in my initial post; after the successful SP initiated request, IdP initiated works fine too.

And everything works fine if you include the ApplicationOverride(s)
inline, in both cases (SP-init, unsolicited responses)?
