So there is now a new release of Unicon's shib-cas-authn3 plugin, v3.3.0, that you'll find here:

Note, however, that the design has been changed a bit, to fully build on top of the External flow, and you no longer need a "Shibcas" flow. So the Install instructions have changed. What is still missing is a guide as to how to be sure you remove any previous config of it that would conflict with the updated design. I've asked that we add that, but it isn't there yet.

But this release is now specifically for Shib IdP v3.4.6. The main README has the updated install instructions.

Unicon knows that this is an issue and will be working on an updated version of the Shib-CAS-Authn3 extension that fixes the problem. I will put a note our to this list when there is an updated version.
