Any plan to support AmazonLinux with more yum repos

Is there any plan to support AmazonLinux with more yum repos?

I am looking at https://shibboleth.net/downloads/service-provider/latest/RPMS/.

AmazonLinux does not support systemd, so I cannot use the CentOS 7 yum repo

AmazonLinux does support the RHEL 6 yum repo, but I have to uninstall Apache 2.4 and use Apache 2.2 which is a problem for me.

Is there any other guidance that might be helpful? Also, I would prefer not to build Service Provider.
