Yes, I failed to ask a question :)

I guess I misread the warning message. The wording "example metadata
only" leads me to believe that the metadata generated has nothing to do
with my configuration, and that's simply not correct.

A link to an FAQ site in the comment text is probably a good idea, as
you suggested.
