RA21 - Resource Access for the 21st Century

Hi list,

some time ago, we discussed about the RA21 initiative on this list -
i.e. an initiative by the International Association of STM Publishers
and NISO (National Information Standards Organization), aiming at
establishing best practices for Web-SSO / SAML / Discovery/WAYF usage
across Service Providers and Universities.

One of the main points was to establish a centralized discovery service
("central IdP Persistence Service"), so users won't need to choose their
identity provider over and over again.

It may be noteworthy that there is a draft from the RA21 initiative now,
open for comments from 17-Apr-2019 thru 17-May-2019:
