Not sure about the "buzz" around SAML considering that it's almost 2
decades old, but try this:

As for "related" buzzwords we don't know where to stop (or start):
Certificates? Public Key Cryptography? HTTP?

The material in the CONCEPT wiki space is extensive so try that first.
