The documentation provided by the Shibboleth project is complete and
includes LDAP-based authentication. If you're unable to find that why
don't you just use the provided MS-Windows installer?
It already includes a container and it preconfigures the IDP for MS-AD
LDAP, IIRC, which of course can later be installed to be LDAPv3
compatible, too.
