CAS Logout redirect

Hi,

We have a service provider, using CAS authn that needs to do a logout followed by redirect at our IdP(v3.4).  In reviewing the CAS 3.0 protocol spec.,  I see that /logout provides for a 'service' parameter that MAY be supported for redirect after logout.  It doesn't appear that IdP currently supports the 'service' parameter.

Will there be future support?  If no, is there access to the /logout http request parameters passed into the logout.vm such that I could script a redirect from the view?
