There's no limitation on compiling both at once.

The flags have no relevance that I'm aware of but if it's complaining ahout that, then I guess you need to fix the Apache builds to line up.

You can't run them both at once so if that's what you're trying to do, no, that's not feasible. It might work in some cases but it's not supported and is extremely likely to break something.
