Assistance with IDP upgrade - LDAP source

Alan,

Thanks for that reference. Somehow I missed it.

Had three changes to make

1st issue: cert not found error in log

1) Turned off SSL and TLS in ldap.properties
( I will work towards turning them on in the future if suggested though, but this is a dev environment that I’m working on now!)

2nd issue: Changed authenticator from anon to bind type…

2) Changed the authenticator to the bind… authenticator in ldap.properties and in authn/ldap-authn-config.xml

3rd issue: Once the above were resolved, I still couldn’t log on … Error was something like: Couldn’t find user record…

3) Changed filter to (uid={user]) from (uid={0]) in ldap.properties file

--- uid={0} was the setting in v2.

Now it logs me on… but it looks like no attributes are being passed – that’s next to solve

After that, I will just need to address the logo on the login screen and we should be good.

Thanks for all of your help!

…. Joel
