Chris,

I can't remember what the defaults were for checkAddress and consistentAddress were in version 2, but consistentAddress defaults to "on" in v3 configuration distribution.  If you have clients that will not be consistently hitting the SP from the same IP address, then you'll need to turn off consistentAddress and you won't see that error anymore.  The wiki article has a good discussion of the settings and the implications of their enablement or disablement.
