Not uncommon.  I completely overlooked that wrinkle when I did the new dependency stuff and missed the (obvious) possibility of
dropping the need for <InputAttribute> elements.  You still need them in V3.4, but they'll become optional in the next release
(deprecated, but not removed until V5, I would imagine)
