Registration Closes May 11 for InCommon Shib Installation Workshop

Registration for the first of two InCommon Shibboleth Installation Workshops in 2018 will close on May 11. That workshop will take place May 22-23 at the Unicon headquarters near Phoenix, Arizona.



The second 2018 workshop will be July 10-11 at the University of Pittsburgh. Registration will remain open for that workshop through June 22.

The two-day training covers both the Identity Provider and Service Provider software, using the TIER (Trust and Identity in Education and Research) version of the IdP, which is delivered via a Docker container and is pre-configured to work well with InCommon. Trainers will also discuss the DevOps process used to update container version, as well as configuration and suggested practices for the federation. Knowledge of identity management concepts and related implementation experience is strongly recommended.
