Yeasss... Thanks, that was the nudge I needed. I was testing to see if
the SP issue was resolved, so it hadn't occurred to me we had developed
a new problem with the httpd's HTTP/2 support since last time we tested.
However after correlating the high-load threads with their backtraces I
don't think it's in the SP.

is a long time ago) it seems the CPU load last time was probably related
to a known httpd issue which we patched. Then we discovered the SP
problem, for which I am now back to thinking the existing patch works.
I'll keep chasing down this rat-hole and see if I catch anything
interesting but if you don't hear back from me, assume the xmltooling
patch does indeed work.
