A "funny" turn of events

To be clear: Downloading packages still works fine (and has never
failed , AFAIK), it's just that ssh/sftp currently takes roughly a
minute to complete, which may lead to timeouts on the client.

So it's the uploading of new packages that's currently
difficult/hampered, and I'm looking into that.

(And the fact that we can't just pull those packages from somewhere
wasn't my decision, either.)
