That's still not a sufficiently concrete error message that would
allow anyone to help you solve your problem.

There are different kinds of NameIDs (and you didn't mention which one
the SP insists on recieveing). There also also different methods to
generate those in the IDP (recommend and legacy ones). And finally
some of those NameIDs have consequences on your internal IDM and you
might not be able to support some of them.

So it all depends.
