Shib login looping when tableau using google sheets as data source

This might be a long shot.

We've got a user who is trying to use a google sheet as a datasource for
tableau...

Our google instance uses our Shib IDP for SSO.
Apparently, it works initially, but when they attempt to refresh, it
prompts for authentication, duo, and then gets stuck in a loop between
google and shibboleth (looping between accounts.google.com, shibboleth, and
google.com/a/umich.edu/acs).

Any ideas?
