How Do You Change SP Target URL?

Yes, I’ve already set “UseCanonicalName On” and “ServerName rc.library.ourschool.edu”.  Shibboleth seems to be getting the URL from one of the proxy commands.  Seems there should be a way to override this?

You need to follow the Apache prep instructions:
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/NativeSPApacheConfig

Specifically, you probably need to set UseCanonicalName to On and set the ServerName.
