Unable to establish session with IdP using Edge

I am using a shibboleth IdP and am able to authenticate and successfully establish a session with most other browsers I’ve been testing, but in Edge I run into this error after authenticating

SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x2efd, Could not complete the operation due to error 00002efd.

I am assuming this is a browser issue, but I was curious if anyone else has ran into this issue and know of a good work around. Is Edge a known restriction for Shibboleth?
