Yes.  The timing is coincidental.

I wanted, however, to focus specifically on administratively terminating
a particular session given a known session ID, as well as demonstrate
what we think is a realistic scenario for our deployments/collaboration,
having just practiced it yesterday.

Again, if the stakes are high we would simply restart/shutdown the SP.
