To achieve what specifically?

* For authentication? (Do you have passwords or hashes stored in MySQL?)
* For attribute retrieval? (Do you have data describing subjects
  there, e.g. their name, email address or role?)
* For persisting data the IDP generated? (E.g. Consent or acceptance
  of terms of use, persistent NameIDs)?
