    There's nothing that could do what you're describing because metadata is something you have to create to describe yourself, always, or it defeats the purpose of using it.

    The metagen script is something I threw together for myself that can script the creation of lots of metadata in bulk and is really more of an IdP tool for manually managing metadata for lots of SPs, none of whom will do it themselves, than an SP tool. It doesn't even know how to generate IdP metadata, so it has no particular value to an SP deployment. It's historical accident that it's stuck in there.
