Have a condition on a page to pick up  <mdui:DisplayName>:


 #elseif ($serviceName)



However if <mdui:DisplayName> is not in the metadata, it's picking up the
entityID.


It appears to be declared correctly:

#set ($serviceName = $rpUIContext.serviceName)


Is there a way to check that if no insert for <mdui:DisplayName>, nothing
will show?
