Banner 9 Application Navigator - sends AuthnRequest as POST

Hi all,

We are trying to configure Ellucian's Banner 9 Application Navigator as the first app to use SSO in our upgrade path. We currently have Banner 8 and ssomanager works correctly with Shibboleth IdP v3.3.3 for SSO with the appropriate get..

The vendor is telling us they can't change it from a POST and that we need to reconfigure Shibboleth.
Has anyone managed to get this working and if so how?
