There should be nothing in that log you "need" under any ordinary scenarios, so understanding what you need is very critical at this stage to get 3.0 done to de-emphasize that log. I'm definitely taking the default level to WARN so anything below that should be purely debugging/unusual.

Secondly, your scenario for overrides goes away in 3.0, that was exactly the case I set out to kill off. The goal is "no overrides, ever" to the extent possible. So that's solved.
