Error with IIS Native SP

Sure enough, idp.properties was copied directly to the server without going through our Octopus Deploy variable substitution. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction; I believe the issue has been resolved!

It means you have a reference to a property "%{ShibServerName}" in your configuration that references a non-existent property. It is *not* because of metadata and your observations in that regard are mistaken in some fashion. And that's not one of our properties  so you had to have created it.
