Send http from IdP to external web service

We're running shib IdP v3.3.0.  I was wondering if it’s possible, for a given SP,
to send a simple http (POST or GET) to an external (to the IdP) web service
after the user logs in and before they are redirected to Service Provider.  The
subject identifier will need to be part of the http call.

Of course. How and where would depend on why. And there's an HTTP DataConnector added to 3.4 already, for attribute resolution anyway.

Wow, this is exactly what I’m looking for!  We just need to do some prep work on behalf of the user for the given Service, before they are redirected.  When is v3.4 expected to be out?
