Yes, but only because I wanted a test SP on Fedora which is completely 
unsupported and some of the CentOS packages stopped installing after an 
upgrade. In your case I suggest that unless you really need to rebuild 
from the SRPMS you just use the packages for RHEL 6 or CentOS 6, which 
will probably work as I believe OEL6 is basically a clone of RHEL 6.

If you do need to rebuild the SRPMS I would now guess that the build is 
failing because there is some missing dependency causing the build process 
not to detect apache, but without logs either from a direct build or the 
rpm build it is very difficult to say what.
