Single Logout Endpoints in Metadata

Hi,

Why should I think about https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/InCFederation/SLO+Endpoints when it comes to set an SLO endpoint in metadata?

If I need to do so, knowing that I use the SLO out-of-the-box (<Logout asynchronous="false">SAML2 Local</Logout>), which SLO endpoint in metadata 
should I set in metadata? If I need to set one...

Note about <<asynchronous="false")>> I set it after reading https://shibboleth.net/pipermail/users/2013-October/012778.html not yet sure about that

The IdP I (the SP) converse with uses Ping Identity. I have not a hand on it. For now when doing a SLO I get a HTTP 500 (server internal error) from 
this IdP.
