Excellent, thanks for the quick reply!

Going forward then, I'll configure a static connector to failover to if the database is unavailable. After that I think I have 2 options:
1) Configure a flow intercept to intervene if the static attribute was resolved
2) Tell the SP what a "failed" attribute looks like and let them handle it on their end.
