ForceAuthn="true" vs ForceAuthn="1"

We are using the Shibboleth SP, and attempting to use ForceAuthn with an
IdP that claims to support it.

The consultant for the IdP is complaining that we send ForceAuthn="1"
rather than ForceAuthn="true".

I'm well aware that under W3C Schema these ought to be equivalent. I guess
they are reading the specification rather literally.

Question is whether there is any way to force the SP to send the latter?
