Possible metadata reload regression

The Windows installers have been corrected (2.6.1.1) and replaced.

My Mac is at home so I'll need to prep the tarball from there and then I'll push out the RPM updates and tags and all the remaining cleanup. I'll send something to announce once I've completed that.
