Hi,

I have a confusion regarding what strings are allowed as eduPersonUniqueID <https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/InCUserIdentifiers/eduPersonUniqueID>.

Reference [1] says,
  * The "uniqueID" portion MUST [...] MUST contain only alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9)
  * The length of the uniqueID portion MUST be less than or equal to 64 characters.

Reference [2] says,
“This identifier is scoped (see section 1.3) and of the form uniqueID at scope. The "uniqueID" portion MUST be unique within the context of the issuing identity system, MUST NOT contain an '@' character and MUST contain only characters from the printable 7-bit ASCII character set. The "scope" portion MUST be the administrative domain of the identity system where the identifier was created and assigned."

So my confusion is which one is correct. Is it that only alphanumeric characters are allowed or any printable 7-bit ASCII character is allowed ? e.g. is “/“ allowed ?
