Uncaught runtime exception An ELException occurred getting the value for expression 'WriteAuditLog' Invalid property 'dateTimeFormat' of bean class

Just closing this loop.
For some reason so far not fully understood but a touch on /opt/shibboleth-idp/war/idp.war file fixed the issue, possibly due to old timestamps on files in /var/lib/tomcat/webapps
Still investigating/understanding
