An entityID is the name used to issue messages and assertions, and what you just attached doesn't match that name.

The IdP doesn't generate metadata, and what it produces at install time is guaranteed to be wrong and incomplete for all sorts of different reasons, one of which you just ran into. You already have as good as you'll ever get out of it and now it needs to be fixed.
