okay, have updated mda.xml file for this guide. works here now (with Java 8 too, yay), have sent to Raja and the original WIKI author for double checking. It was all due to API changes...so file needed the relevant updates (ignored sections that didnt have issues at this time, theres still some prettifying required but hey ho) alan
